The United States Withdraws Anti dumping Measures against China’s Enamel Kitchenware

On October 13, 2021, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement that since no domestic stakeholders in the United States had responded to the announcement on the expiration of the measures before the application deadline, the U.S. Department of Commerce revoked the anti-dumping measures that continued to be implemented against porcelain on steel cooking ware imported from China. The U.S. Harmonized Tariff No. of the product involved is 7323.94.00.

 

On December 31, 1985, the US Department of Commerce conducted an anti-dumping investigation on enamel kitchenware originating in China. On October 10, 1986, the US Department of Commerce made a final decision on the case. On December 2, 1986, the United States formally imposed anti-dumping duties on enamel kitchenware originating in China. Since then, the United States has conducted four sunset reviews, and extended the tax period on April 14, 2000, November 22, 2005, March 14, 2011 and August 11, 2016, respectively.
