On July 28, the grand opening of the seventh session of the China-Italy Entrepreneurs Committee took place at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Premier Li Qiang of the State Council and Italian Prime Minister Meloni attended and delivered speeches at the ceremony. Over 150 entrepreneurs from China and Italy participated. Zhu Dongfeng, ALIC’s President, was invited to the ceremony.
On the morning of July 29, the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce and the Confederation of Italian Industry jointly held the China-Italy Entrepreneurs Fashion & Textile Apparel Parallel Forum. Enterprises and brands including Italy’s Dolce & Gabbana, Zegna, DeLonghi, and Florence Town, along with more than ten other companies including ours, engaged in discussions and networking. President Zhu stated in his speech that Europe has always been one of our global strongholds, with Italy being a main country for our products to land in Europe. In the past two years, our textiles, clothing, and luggage have sold over twenty million US dollars in Italy, and our exported products have been well-received. ALIC will continue to increase its business investment in Italy and also looks forward to deepening cooperation with Italian enterprises in channel resources and market expansion to achieve mutual benefit.
